BentoPro+ consists of a 20 mil impermeable high-density polyethylene film, a layer of granular bentonite and spun-bonded geotextile. This composite design produces a high-performance, tough, self-sealing, and vapor-impermeable water barrier. Because bentonite clay swells upon contact with water, it makes for a naturally powerful, self-sealing waterproofing material for post- and pre-applied below-grade foundation applications including freestanding walls, foundations, tunnels, elevator pits and blindside applications to various shoring systems including timber lagging, caissons, sheet pile and shotcrete retention systems.
